Case Dismissed

On July 30, 2009, the Honorable Nick Nazaretian, County Court Judge, Hillsborough County, granted our motion to dismiss filed in a domestic battery case in Hillsborough County, Case Number 08-CM-21979.

The Court heard argument on the Motion to Dismiss filed pursuant to Rule 3.190(c)(4), which alleged that there were no undisputed facts, and that the facts in the case did not establish that a domestic battery had occurred. The police report alleged that our client punched and struck his live-in boyfriend several times about the face and head causing bleeding, bruises and lumps. The Court in Hillsborough County granted the motion to dismiss on July 30, 2009. Our client lived out of state had was not required to attend the motion to dismiss hearing.
